Lucite is more optically clear than hardcoated Lexan® windshields are.  Lucite resists yellowing more than most other windshield materials.  Another nice advantage of Lucite is that it does not have to be coated with any hardcoating.  Hardcoated shields deteriorate rather quickly, making this Lucite shield a wise long term investment.<br>Slipstreamer Inc., based in Blaine, MN, pioneered the acrylic motorcycle windshield industry.
