Cable used to connect a camera to a Raspberry Pi (1 A+, 1 B+, 2, 3, 4). These have 15 conductors and reversed ends (conductors exposed at the ends on opposite sides). Choose from 6 sizes: 6 cm (2.4 inch), 8 cm (3.15 inch), 10 cm (3.9 inch), 12 cm (4.7 inch), 15 cm (5.9 inch), 20 cm (7.9 inch).
Note: the 6 cm cable is really short and hard to work with so unless you need a cable that short for a specific reason I don't recommend it.
Sorry no local pickup.
I do combine shipping if you order more than one cable or if you order one of my other items.
Please see my store for other cable lengths and items.
Instructions:
The cable should be inserted so that the blue side of the cable is facing away from the circuit board at the camera end and toward the ethernet port at the Pi end.
Make sure the connectors are tightly closed, but also be careful because they are pretty easy to break.
Raspberry Pi cameras are not "plug-n-play" and must be connected before the Pi is turned on.
If you have never used a camera on the OS installation on your Pi then you will need to enable it (directions can be found by searching the web for "pi [OS name] enable camera") .
If you have problems getting the cable/camera to work let me know and I will try to help.
Note: The economy US shipping on these does not include tracking. Please select a different shipping service if you would like tracking.
